There is no point in comparing the IRA with al-qaeda. The IRA was clear, discernible, and comprehensible. It actually existed (or still exists), for crying out loud! We are missing the point with this al-qaeda thing.

The Al Qaeda terror group is composed of pathetic people. They no longer listen to the sentiments of the diplomatic individuals. Negotiating with the terrorists is risky and a waste of time.

How can you start talking to a terror group whose ideology is never open for change? Its mindset has been patterned to thinking that what it is fighting for is the ultimate truth and the road to peace is by means of killing and torturing innocent people. Can violence be the solution to radical change? Think again!
